The Eaton Cutler-Hammer 20 Amp 1 in. Single-Pole Type BR Replacement Circuit Breaker is designed to protect house wires from overheating or causing a short-circuit. Single pole breaker applications include use with dishwashers, waste disposals, refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, televisions and window air conditioners. The UL-listed breaker is compatible with Westinghouse, Challenger and Bryant load centers and has a maximum load of 240-Volt.
-Primary function of a circuit breaker is to protect the wire from overheating (overload) and fault currents (short circuit)
-Amperage rating: 20 Amp
-Single pole 1 in. wide breaker
-Trips to center position - must turn off then turn back on
-For use in type BR load centers
-Type BR breakers are UL approved genuine replacement breakers for load centers made by Westinghouse, Challenger and Bryant
-Interrupt rating - 10 kAIC
-Voltage rating is 120/240-Volt
-Wire size - #14-4 AWG Cu/Al at 60°C or 75°C
-Gauge/number of wires with ground - 12/2
