Large Ornate Handcrafted Porcelain Chinese Tureen With Lid, Platter Serving Bowl
Tureen dimensions: 14" long, 10" wide, 6"Â high (10" with lid)
Platter Dimensions: 14" long, 11" wide, 2" high
This hand crafted tureen and platter have very intricate and detailed decorations that have been highlighted in gold and have a gold and green raised/textured pattern all over. Both sides of the tureen and platter depict a scene of an important looking Chinese woman surrounded by handmaids being offered something by someone kneeling on the ground in front of her. The lid and tureen handles are painted in gold. Both the platter and tureen are marked with "Made in China" on the bottom.
Pre-owned condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of repair to any of the three pieces. There is very minimal wear to the edges of the handle and platter from prior use. The lid does not sit flush with the tureen, so there is a slight wobble. See photos for details.
