Simpson's portable shunts enable a panel meter to indicate higher DC
currents than can be provided with a self-contained internal shunt. Used with
either digital or analog meters. Portable shunts are mounted in a phenolic base
allowing easy installation in many locations. These shunts are adjusted for a 50
millivolt drop for use with analog and digital panel ammeters where external
shunts are required. Portable shunts have phenolic bases and accept up to 200
amperes. Accuracy: ±1%.
