Solid Brass Gimbal Mounted Nautical Boat Yacht Ship Compass w/Navigators Balls

This nautical compass is made of solid brass and is mounted onto gimbal screwed onto a wood base. There are two arms on either side of the gimbal that hold the red and green painted iron navigator's balls. The compass face is white with black markings and is marked down to 2 degree and 5 degree increments. The inside appears to be filled with glycerin and is sealed with a rubber gasket.
Pre-owned condition. The glass face has been cracked and glued back together (it doesn't leak) and there is some light tarnishing. The compass dial is easy to knock off the needle inside and it appears as though the dial has bumped around inside and scratched the white painted finish. See photos for details.
