Detailed Description:
Thomas & Betts Color-Keyed® C-tap connector is made of wrought, high conductivity copper with plain finish. It measures 1-15/16 Inch x 3/4 Inch. It can be used on main wire of size 1 - 4/0 AWG and branch wire of size 2/0 - 8 AWG. It is blue color-coded to match the proper die. It has voltage rating of 600 Volts. Tap with low resistance and a high pullout values assures positive, all around compression. It is suitable for pigtailing, 2-way splicing or tapping to an unbroken continuous main. It is economical compared to other taps and you can save on purchases, inventory, installation time, insulating as well as follow-up maintenance. Tap connector is UL, CSA listed and RoHS compliant.
